Tonight! Angela Rye Is Hosting A Midterm Election Special, “OUR VOTE OUR POWER,” On BET With Michelle Obama, Shaun King & More

NEW YORK, NY – Tonight, October 28, at 10 PM, ET/PT, BET News will premiere “ANGELA RYE. OUR VOTE. OUR POWER.”, an empowering and informing news special hosted by noted political pundit Angela Rye joined by a panel of esteemed guests including Former Senior Advisor to President Obama Valerie Jarrett, recording artist Remy Ma, Senator Corey Booker, activist Shaun King, Representative Edward “Ted” James, civil rights lawyer Kristen Clarke and Dr. Connie Wun as they discuss the key issues at stake in the upcoming midterm election.

Featuring an exclusive sit-down interview with Michelle Obama, this special will highlight diverse voices speaking about the need for voter registration and turnout in local communities around the nation.

Rye, along with the many other notable people she will be talking to, will break down why this year’s midterm elections are so important, and the importance of the black people voting.
