The Baltimore arts festival Artscape has just announced its weekend lineup with one of the best music acts, TLC.
Artscape is essentially what the name sounds like, an escape into art and artistry. An artists’ markets with vendors creating different forms of artwork, showcasing their talents, businesses with deals, and so much more. It’s an experience to say the least.
“We’re kicking off on Friday with youth day, celebrating all the creative talents here in our city with our young people on our stages, having new experiences with the arts, thing to try all weekend long, but a special emphasis on the Friday,” Artscape director Kathy Hornig said.
“This year, our free headline concerts include the best-selling girl group of all time TLC, reggae legends Toots and the Maytals, and we close it out on Sunday with Rock-Blues sensation ZZ Ward,” Hornig said.
The festival takes place Friday, July 20th – Sunday, July 22nd. There are multiple stages, one being Morgan State University Festival Stage, John Hopkins University Station North Stage, and many more performances beside the main stages. Also, it’s free to attend the festival. Check out the MICA main stage schedule below.
