NEW YORK, May 29, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — It’s been reported that a new Prince album was coming for awhile, and now it’s almost here, and will be released on Prince’s birthday on June 7th, exclusively on TIDAL.
Prince’s new album is called Originals, and has “pulled directly from the historic archive of Prince’s music” featuring 14 previously unreleased recordings selected collaboratively by JAY-Z and Troy Carter, on behalf of The Prince Estate.
The upcoming Originals album is set to become a global phenomena, with celebrations taking place in Brazil, Spain, Poland, and more countries across the world. This isn’t the first time Prince collaborated with JAY-Z and TIDAL Prince has released HITNRUN Phase One, HITNRUN Phase Two, the livestream of Prince’s Rally 4 Peace concert, and more released through TIDAL.
