The Official Trailer for Beyoncé’s ‘BLACK IS KING’ is Filled with Culture & Cameos

BLACK IS KING is a visual album stemming from Beyoncé’s The Lion King: The Gift album. In a partnership with Disney, BLACK IS KING will stream exclusively on the Disney+ streaming service.

The Lion King: The Gift was released over a year ago on July 19, 2020. And while an album for the live action The Lion King, it was a way to celebrate Blackness and African culture in all ways. To showcase love, beauty, and strength.

The short trailer shows that storylines will be portrayed, dealing with culture, space, time, and that’s just from what we can see. Beyoncé herself, Jay-Z, Tina Knowles-Lawson, Pharrell Williams, and more will also appear in the visual album.

BLACK IS KING will premiere July 31, 2020, on Disney+. Watch the trailer below.
