The nominees for the 50th NAACP Image Awards were announced today at a joint press conference with Derrick Johnson, President and CEO of the NAACP and Alfred Liggins, Chairman and CEO of TV One.
Like every year, the NAACP Image Awards nominees are people that we consider the best of the best, or had a really mazing year that you can’t doubt. From shoes like Atlanta, Insecure, and Dear White People, to artists like Janelle Monae, H.E.R, Bruno Mars, and mores. If you don’t know, the Image Awards also celebrates and highlights literature.
Check out the full list of nominees below. The NAACP Image Awards will air on TV One on Saturday, March 30, 2019.
