T Barz lets it be known she’s in the game, and here to stay on “The Lyfe.” She was named an “Artist to Watch” by PEOPLE Magazine after they witnessed her debut performance at the 2019 Essence Music Festival in New Orleans.
Born and raised in Mobile Alabama, Felecia Nichole Tunstall musically known as T Barz realized her gift of writing in 2009. She started writing poems which turned into spoken word that she performed at local functions.
Her new single allows her to have fun, but still give barz. While personal, it’s relatable. The music vide, directed by Amine Nourlil, shows Barz making moves and traveling, but also has scenes by herself. Sort of a moment of self reflection.
“Enjoy this life, til I get it right/ I ain’t perfect, but I sure can make it feel like for one life/ I used to dream about the Grammy life, So I’ll be damned if I’m letting any nigga come and change my life”
“The Lyfe” was written by T Barz, Lou Humphrey and Jasmon Joyner. “It’s a vibe song inspired by an almost summer day, 70 degrees to be exact, top down while riding on an old-school ride driving through the neighborhood thinking about those goals that you want to accomplish,” mentions T Barz.
