SWV Will Receive Their FIRST Ever Award at the 2017 Soul Train Awards

Yes, you read that right. SWV made their musical debut in 1992 with their first album, “It’s About Time,” and they will receive their first award in their entire career. 

SWV will receive the Lady of Soul award award at this years Soul Train Award. Last years’ recipient was Brandy (relive the performance here), so I think the transition from Brandy to SWV is seamless in terms of classic R&B.
