The year 2021 marks 50 years of Soul Train and the 2021 Soul Train Awards honored that legacy and more.

Hosted by Tichina Arnold and Tisha Campbell for the fourth year in a row, the duo helped bridge R&B, Soul, Hip-Hop and dance with comedy.  

The award show had performances from Lady of Soul honoree, Ashanti, as well as Maxwell, who received the Living Legend Award. Silk Sonic’s Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, Ari Lennox, Lucky Daye, Fred Hammond, Tone Stitch, Musiq Soulchild, Leon Bridges, ELHAE, and Summer Walker also graced the stage.
