Sammie Announces Tour With Inspirational Message About His Life

Sammie has been in the music game since 1999, and his growth is evident physically, mentally, and musically. Through his last album, which may be one of his most personal albums, Sammie speaks on a lot.

Sammie dropped his latest album, Everlasting, in March of this year, and as a result, he is going out on his own tour. The Everlasting Tour is set to take place on June 3rd, 2019, and will continue through the month of June with Damar Jackson. A few hours ago, Sammie posted an inspirational moment on Instagram, speaking on some struggles through his life.

“2015 I put out a project entitled “Indigo” when people advised me NOT TO,” he wrote. “Was also told to cut my beard and hair to be more marketable. Hand delivered hard copies and signed every one and shipped them out for months with the help of my manager and brother @alopeziv.” During this time, Sammie shared that he “was four months behind in mortgage, car-less and any $ I did have I put back into my music (I was like screw these bills right now). 2016 June 30th I free styled a song entitled “I’m Him” that went viral via @theshaderoomand 4 million views later that lead me to a record deal(s) via @ghazi and the @empire family.”

Despite the hardships, Sammie was able to bounce back. “That lead to 4 chart topping projects (2 ep’s and 2 albums) a tour along side my idol @therealtank. My brother @curlyheadedblackboy then blessed me to have a moment in history On the Millennium Tour (thank you) & now I’m prepping to headline my own tour #TheEverlastingTour in June. Tickets available now via SammieAlways.com. All that to say, GOD IS MERCIFUL AND FULL OF GRACE! Don’t give up on yourself and fret not. I have plenty now. I have peace.
