Reportedly, tax returns will still go out during this government shutdown. “Tax refunds will go out,” Russell T. Vought, acting director of the White House Office of Management and Budget, told reporters in an afternoon briefing. According to the New York Times. FAFSA took to social media as one way to address the public during concerns of impact during the government shutdown.

“FYI: Some of you are asking about your aid during the partial government shutdown. Our department was funded so there is *no* impact on your aid. FAFSA forms continue to be processed as normal. If you have questions about your status, talk to your school’s financial aid office.”
