Remy Ma Allegedly Fires Vincent Herbert As Her Manager

After Remy Ma signed a multi-million dollar deal with Columbia Records, her career was supposed to take off and be better than ever, but something seems to dim her light, which may be her management.

Remy Ma signed Vincent Herbert as her manager with the new record deal, and chose to because she believed Herbert would be best given his years in the industry and success in different music markets.Herbert made promises to provide for Remy as a super manager, but according to TMZ, he hasn’t delivered. With the divorce happening between Herbert and his estranged wife Tamar Braxton, Herbert has allegedly been so focused on Braxton, that he’s letting Remy and her career fall through.

If you’ve been watching Remy’s recent releases of “Wake Me Up” and “Melanin Magic,” you’ve noticed that she hasn’t done performances, appearances, and that her songs aren’t being played as much (with “Melanin Magic” doing better on the urban airplay radio side). Those kinds of tasks, and more, are jobs of a manager, and with the lack of exposure Remy is getting, the separation of management is right on time.

With the messiness between Herbert and Braxton’s divorce, Remy doesn’t want to get involved, and rightfully so. Hopefully, if all is true, Remy can find a new manager in time to help promote and finish her next album “7 Winters and 6 Summers.”
