“All Mine” is Ralph Tresvant’s return as a solo artist, and to much success. Featuring fellow New Edition member Johnny Gill, Tresvant creates a future classic regarding “grown folk music.”
“”All Mine” to me is a statement record. Its a grown folks record that says good R&B music executed properly always has a place in the music industry. It also show that addressing the subject of love never gets old!”
It’s one thing to team up to create music, it’s another thing to be able to create music that translate a friendship. Tresvant and Gill compliment each other well, and it stems back to their group days. However, it’s clear they still have a good friendship.
“Me and Johnny on the phone, we’re talking all the time,” Tresvant stated in our interview. “We’re real friends… We stayed like that with each other throughout the years… It’s fun. The energy is always light, kind, and friendly… I’ve just be in awe at his skills, his talent, his ears, and his abilities.”
