Pharrell was recently honored in France for his contributions to the arts by Audrey Azoulay, French politician and Minister of Culture.
“This is another level,” the Grammy award winning artist stated as as he was awarded the insignia of Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters by Azoulay, the ceremony at which took place near the Louvre. “For me, France is the center of art,”
Williams, who was in the French capital for the annual Fashion Week, said he was appreciative for the special recognition and added he wished his wife and children could be there for the occasion. “Trust me, I’ll go back and tell them every detail,” he said.
