Normani & 6lack Create A Futuristic Wave In New Video

A few months after releasing “Waves,” Normani & 6lack have released their video for the single.

“It was one of the first records that I recorded,” the Normani told Billboard about the record. “My favorite part as an artist is just seeing how many different phases a record can go through before actually being done.”

When the song premiered last year, Normani showed great admiration for 6lack on Zane Lowe’s show. “I admire [6LACK] as an artist,” she said. “He’s an amazing lyricist, and I feel like he took the record to a whole other level. I already love the record as is, but he totally exceeded any expectation I even had, which was pretty high, because I admire him as an artist.”
