Music aside, Nicki Minaj has been doing a lot of great things for people, most recently, her offering to pay of college loans and tuition on twitter and planning on launching a program for it. Minaj can now add helping an entire village to her list of charitable deeds.
In a recent Instagram post, Minaj revealed that through her pastor, she has been donating money for years to a village in India, and she will continue to do so.
“This is the kind of thing that makes me feel the most proud,” Minaj post. “The money I’ve sent to this village in India for the last couple years [via my Pastor Lydia Sloley], has gotten them a Computer Center, a Tailoring Institute, a Reading Program and 2 WATER WELLS. We complain about the most ridiculous little things when some ppl don’t even have clean water. Blessings to India. Our work is far from done. I’ll tell you guys more about my charity work in the near future in case you’d like to be a part of it. Love”
The second post shows a group of women praying, and Minaj wrote, “I’m so proud of our sisters in India. God is so good. Their desire was to have water wells & places where they can worship, places where they can learn technology, computers, reading, etc. We’re just getting started. These women are us and we are them!”
Minaj is set to start a variety of charitable organizations, and is a strong advocate for going to school and get an education. Only time will tell what’s next for her.
