#NewVideo: Kehlani Honors Sex Workers in “Can I”

Kehlani’s creativity has been shining in this pandemic. From her latest album, It Was Good Until It Wasn’t, to the different quarantine style music videos. Her latest is “Can I,” which showcases and honors sex workers.

Kehlani, with the help of Da’shaun, came together with a chatroom-style like video, showcasing different sex workers or varying shades and sizes. One of the biggest phenomenas right now is Onlyfans, and Kehlani wanted to celebrate that. Women are taking control of the narrative, loving themselves, and making their own money along the way.

“Our video is a ode to sex work. honoring sex workers. uplifting their movement. that’s it.”

The song features Tory Lanez, and given recent events, Kehlani shared the following. The video features Lanez’s verse, but that won’t be there for the deluxe version.
