Jazmine Sullivan celebrates her latest EP, Heaux Tales, by giving fans a live performance at NPR’s Tiny Desk Home Concerts. Heaux Tales was released Friday, and already in the top 3 of iTunes music, and sure to debut strong on the R&B charts.
The Philly native songstress performs “Bodies (Intro),” “The Other Side,” “Lost One,” and “Girl Like Me” (featuring H.E.R.) off her latest project, and gives us a classic with “Let It Burn.”
Sullivan starts the nearly 20-minute set with strong harmonies, with herself, as well as her background singers. Listeners also get to hear her scat as well. H.E.R. joins Sullivan to help perform their song “Girl Like Me.”
