#NewVideo: FLO Samples & Features Missy Elliott on ‘Fly Girl’

“If you a fly girl, Get a pedicure/ Get your nails done, get your hair did” is how FLO starts their new single “Fly Girl,” which pulls from Missy Elliott’s classic song “Work It.” Not only do the girls sample Elliott, but they also team up with her for the new single.

“Fly Girl” follows FLO’s last single, “Losing You,” and is their latest single before their first headlining U.S. tour.

Elliott’s “Work It” has sustained popularity throughout the years as it spent 26 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at no. 2 on the charts.

The video has FLO getting ready and enjoying themselves as they get ready to party for the night. It’s about FLO and their girls, not worried about a man as a significant other in any part of their plans.

Elliott also comes through at the end of the video, helping tie the song to completion.
