R&B and rap group Chozyn 3 is releasing its sensual “Baecation” song and video. With plenty of eye-candy for the ladies and the fellas, the sultry clip directed by Millie X serves as a sonic and visual respite from an era filled with headlines about COVID-19, police brutality, and political tumult.
“We want to give people an escape from their reality,” reveals Chozyn 3’s Noelle, who is joined in the trio by Cabria and Danielle. “A lot of people want to go somewhere right now. We want to give them a three-minute getaway, whether they have a Bae or not.”
Chozyn 3 is comprised of sisters Noelle and Cabria, and Cabria’s best friend Danielle. In addition to being a singer and rapper, Noelle is an accomplished actor with supporting roles on Criminal Minds, Black-ish, and House M.D., among others.
Produced by Dem Jointz (Dr. Dre, Janet Jackson, Keedron Bryant) and Starchild Yeezo (Chris Brown, Raphael Saadiq), “Baecation” is Chozyn 3’s third single and features Noelle, Cabria, and Danielle singing and rapping about living it up with a special getaway filled with sunrises, quality time, and lovemaking.
“I’ve known the members of Chozyn 3 for years now,” says platinum producer Dem Jointz. “With ‘Baecation,’ they show that they can write and deliver a hit record. It’s great seeing them take it to another level.”
