Omar Wilson isn’t letting this pandemic from interfering from his talent, and love for music. Lifted from his debut album Living Legend last year, Wilson’s single “96” is a smooth ode to good times in 1996.
“96” was co-written by Wilson, Keith Sweat, Louis Humphrey, Demetri James Gountanas, Shenee Lofton and Gibson Cagney. It was co-produced by Humphrey, Edwin Ramos and Donavan Jarvis. The smooth “96 is about the desire of going back in time with my lady to 1996, the time when our love was special and life and music was just dope,” states Omar.
Later this September, Omar will join Alanis Morissette, Ruben Studdard, Ariana Huffington and many others at the Resiliency 2020 First Responders charity event in support of our first responders during this Covid-19 pandemic.
Recently during quarantine, Wilson was a special guest on the Global Citizen’s #TogetherAtHome Concert series platform, delivering a powerful performance and leaving audiences wanting more.
“96”, is available for streaming and download on all platforms now, via the BSE Recordings/Sony/Orchard label imprint. Check out “96” here.
