After a very traumatizing few recent years, Megan Thee Stallion has released her second studio album, Traumazine. It features previously released tracks “Plan B,” “Sweetest Pie,” and “Pressurelicious.”
The 18-track album has features from Latto, Pooh Shiesty, Rico Nasty, Jhenè Aiko, Lucky Daye, Future, Dua Lipa, Sauce Walk, Big Pokey and Lil’ Keke.
In an Instagram post, the rapper said the word Traumazine is “the chemical released in the brain when it is forced to deal with painful emotions caused by traumatic events and experiences.”
Leading up to the release of her album on the same day, Megan Thee Stallion called her 1501 label owner Carl Crawford. Undoubtedly, a part of the inspiration to her album title, along with her pending trial with artist Tory Lanez.
In a tweet to her fans, Megan Thee Stallion said she “opened up to yall on this album so if you’re comfortable, how bout we have a conversation abt some things you might be going through or just want to vent about that you’ve been through that may help someone else.”
