#NewMusic: MC Lyte Releases First Studio Album in Over a Decade, ‘1 of 1’

Hip-hop pioneer, voice-over artist, actress, philanthropist, and cultural icon MC Lyte is back in the music scene as an artist with her new album, “1 of 1.’ The album not only reinforces her legendary status but showcases her versatility and lasting influence.

This album is more than just a collection of tracks; it’s a bridge connecting generations of music lovers through sound. “1 of 1” is executive produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Warryn Campbell of My Block Records

The “1 of 1” album has features from iconic artists and songwriters such as Stevie Wonder, Queen Latifah, Cheryl “Salt” James, Muni Long, Mary Mary, Common, Raheem DeVaughn and Big Daddy Kane.

MC Lyte’s return is not just about music; it’s a testament to her enduring legacy in a rapidly evolving industry.
