The Long teased collab between Khalid and Normani is here, “Love Lies,” which seems as a mix between R&B and alternative.
“Love Lies” is a featured song for an upcoming movie called “Love, Simon,” which will be released in March of this year.
“Love, Simon” is a self discovery journey for a young man who hasn’t come out as gay yet, but has falled for a mystery student. IMDB says, “Everyone deserves a great love story. But for Simon it’s complicated: no-one knows he’s gay and he doesn’t know who the anonymous classmate is that he’s fallen for online. Resolving both issues proves hilarious, scary and life-changing.”
With Khalid’s raspy voice, alongside Normani’s soft and silky voice, the duo vocals seem to really empower one another.
