A combination of R&B singer-songwriter Elijah Blake, with Moonlapse Music; Karajishi was born.
It wouldn’t be a true Elijah Blake song without impeccable runs, and “Give Up The Ghost” definitely delivers. Moonlapse music created by 21-year-old composer/producer/multi-instrumentalist Ben Strick, and describes his music as “Progressive/Experimental/Rock/Metal/Electronic.
“Give Up The Ghost” is a simply complex song where the lyrics compliment the production elegantly. It’s a combination of all different musical elements mixed together perfectly.
“We would race down the boulevard/ Shooting dice and counting stars/ making planes out of poker cards, running free/ Mom and day always off to work/ Somewhere, skipping school and we’re late for church/ Chasing, good girls cause they do the worse/ Living free/ Those were the days we would sit around the fire/ thinking we would never grow old/ Can we live forever?”
