“We moving through the hood logistics/ Shakin’ and moving, everyday a nigga going missing/ Babies dying, mommas crying, uncles up in prison/ All these sirens, all this violence, crazy drug addiction”
He asked me to listen, I did, and I am throughly impressed. Production is on 100, and the content is amazing. As recent college graduate, Gho$t Mamba released second project, named after his own story, called “The Young Black $cholar” on November 15th, 2017. The 10-track project grabs the listener from the very first song, “Hood Logistic$,” and keeps the attention throughout; taking you on a journey.
The project is a mix of new age production mixed with old school flow/story telling. A much needed breathe of fresh air in the current music state. A song you can actually listen, hear, and relate to. Talking about not only real world experiences, but his own experiences as well; the art, talent, and passion are present and stand out amongst the beat.
“I refuse to be another statistic”
