On his grind, Brooklyn rapper Clintn Lord releases a new freestyle, “Happy Fathers,” on SoundCloud. Over an instrumental of Drake’s ‘Omertà,” Clintn references his own challenges with fatherhood — issues with his daughter’s mother as well as how he was impacted by his parents’ divorce.
In May, Clintn released two songs, “Set Big” and “Toxic.” The latter that responds to the ongoing police killings of African Americans, will be available on digital service providers on Fri., Jun. 26. Clintn and his brother SAINt JHN, fellow model, songwriter and hip hop artist (who has written for Rihanna, Beyoncé and Usher), have received more than 100,000 views for their collaboration “Ay! Caramba.”
As a model, Clintn’s credits include Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3, NYFW September 2017 and being featured on Vogue Paris. In 2016, he performed at the Hard festival in Los Angeles on a bill with DJ Khaled, Travis Scott and Lil Uzi Vert. That same year he debuted his first album, “Beautiful Demon,” and the follow up, “Savage America,” dropped in 2017. “Bicycle,” “Beast” and “Love You Right” are among his stunning visuals.
