#NewMusic: Ariana Grande Releases Remix to Her Version of “The Boy Is Mine” with Brandy and Monica

Ariana Grande released her song “The Boy Is Mine” on the recently released “Eternal Sunshine” album and has recruited both Brandy and Monica for the remix as an homage to the original Billboard No. 1 classic “The Boy Is Mine” by both singers.

The previously released video Grande’s “The Boy Is Mine” has a cameo from Brandy and Monica as news anchors in a comic-based world.

The original “The Boy Is Mine”  won the Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocal at the 1999 Grammys.

The remix with Grande has multiple vocal nods to the original, from runs to adjusting the chorus at times to replicate the same style as the original “The Boy Is Mine” lines.
