Deirdre Ford has just released her first published book through hard work, consistency, passion, and drive.
Born and raised in a small town outside of Philadelphia., Ford attended the University of Pittsburgh. Being married for 25 years, Ford has two grown daughters, and a granddaughter. A lover of clothes, fashion, and owner of Designs be Deirdre, a book is not such a change with her creative ability.
“I’ve been writing since I was a kid,” states Ford. “I love to create and love the arts.”
Time Heals All Wounds can be described as “a juicy modern day tale of love, deception and murder. A short story that redefines the term Girl Gang, with a group of women who are beautiful, strong and fearless”
Ford revealed that re-entry inspired her new book. “There are so many stories of people who went to prison, and have come home to do great things,” she began. “But we don’t hear about professional women that took a wrong turn that served time and came back strong. There are so many stories about our people that go untold.”
Not only is Time Heals All Wounds Ford’s first book, but she’s already set to release a new one next month, Boss Lady Lucinda.
