On Real Housewives of Atlanta, Nene and Gregg Leakes shared that Gregg was battling cancer, and it’s been a struggle for both parties.
Nene & Gregg have been together for years, and if you’ve watched RHOA this season, then you know it’s been a ride. Gregg was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer in 2018, and has been fighting a hard fight.
Gregg previously was opposed to chemotherapy, going about cures more holistically, but it was revealed this season that he was considering the chemo option. Nene shared videos and a photo of Gregg ringing the bell that many people ring when they have finished their chemotherapy.
“This all started May 5th 2018,” her post began. “It’s been a long emotional ride for our entire family! Listen up American…..TODAY my husband @greggleakes has completed 6 months of chemotherapy! Awesome job hunni! I’m so happy for you and the strength you showed during this difficult time in your life! PS: Thank you to all of our family, friends, fans, doctors and nurses who lifted us up in constant prayer, sent recipes, doctors info, gave advice and gifts! We love you ❤️ PSS: what a relief! We finally get to share with the world what we’ve been going thru.”
