Michelle Obama is Officially a Grammy Winner

Michelle Obama is a lot of wonderful things, and a Grammy winner can now be added to her list of accomplishments. Mrs. Obama took home the 2020 Spoken Word Grammy with the recording of her book Becoming.

Becoming was a memoir on her life during the White House, being a Black women, and how that impacted different levels of her life, and more. It was an intimate portrayal, her truth.

Mrs. Obama isn’t the only Grammy winner in the family. Barack Obama has also won Grammys in the past. He won the spoken-word Grammy in 2006 for his recording of Dreams From My Father. As well as in 2008 for The Audacity of Hope.
