Megan Thee Stallion opened Night 1 of the Tiny Desk Fest backed by Brooklyn band Phony Ppl. Laura Beltran Villamizar/NPR
Megan Thee Stallion brought her authentic self to NPR, “popping” her shit, making people laugh, and putting on for the culture.
From start to finish, Stallion commands the crown and attention. From the shots into the audience, she has the audience’s full attention. Performing hits like “Big Ole Freak,” “Hot Girl Summer,” Cash Shit,” and more. She also unveiled a new song called “Fuckin Around.”
She was backed by Brooklyn band Phony Ppl., and they created beautiful moments. Completely raw an uncensored, but still … Her concert was a part of Tiny Desk Fest, a four-night series of extended concerts performed in front of a live audience and streamed live on YouTube, Twitter and Facebook.
