Mary Wilson of The Supremes has passed away at 76-years-old, according to her publicist Jay Schwartz. Wilson passed away in her Las Vegas home Monday night.
The Supremes were formed with Wilson, Florence Ballard, and Diana Ross. The group garnered 12 number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, including “Stop! In The Name of Love,” “Where Did Our Love Go,” “You Can’t Hurry Love,” and more.
“I just woke up to this news,” Diana Ross tweeted Tuesday morning. “I am reminded that each day is a gift. I have so many wonderful memories of our time together. The Supremes will live on, in our hearts.”
