Mary J. Blige Will Receive the Icon Award at This Years Billboard Women in Music Ceremony

Just announced from Billboard, Queen of Hip Hop Soul; Mary J Blige will receive the Icon Award at this years Billboard Women in Music.

“The Billboard Women in Music event was created to spotlight female trailblazers in the music industry. Whether entertaining sold-out crowds or signing the next big artist, the women we celebrate are powerful leaders and pioneers, creating inspirational legacies and opening doors.”

Along with Blige, Kelly Clarkson, Kehlani, Camila Cabello will also be award, along with Selena Gomez being honored with the Woman of the Year award. Sadly enough, Ariana Grande isn’t receiving an award, even after creating an entire benefit concert in two weeks for the victims that died during the terrorist attack that happened during her U.K. show.

The Women in Music red carpet pre-show and awards ceremony are scheduled to live stream via Twitter on Nov. 30 from 6 to 9 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. ET.
