Laura Govan Denies Any Sexual Relations With Vincent Herbert: “I Got A Type and That Ain’t It”

After Tamar Braxton posted about her estranged husband Vincent Herbert has gotten somebody pregnant, and that he was arrested on Christmas Day (which has since been deleted), Laura Govan got mentioned by Braxton in the post, which led many to believe that Govan is pregnant. Since the first, Govan turned off her comments on Instagram.

During the interview, Govan said the following.

“It’s not true, I didn’t know none of that was happening either… I didn’t even know Vince like that. No disrespect, I think he’s a great guy but he’s so not my type… I got a type and that ain’t it. I like em a little lighter, a little whiter, a little nicer; naw just kidding.”

Now, while not only shading Herbert, Govan saying she likes them whiter is not surprising after she was on a TV One show called “Next 15” with various castmates, including Tiffany Pollard. The reason for mentioning this is because Govan had made a statement that she wished there were more lighter people on the cast, “is that racist?” While at the reunion for that show, Pollard collected Govan while loving and proclaiming her blackness.

Watch the interview below, as well as the colorist clip from the “Next 15.”
