Kim Kardashian Says The Paris Robbery Was Meant To Happen & That They Were Following Her For Two Years

On an episode of “Ellen,” Kim Kardashian opened up to Ellen about the Paris incident, and how it came about. “I don’t think everyone understands how horrific that experience was for you,” Ellen began, while leading up to asking about the Paris trip, which Kim then gave a surprising response and revelation about the experience.

“I know this sounds crazy but I know that was meant to happen to me,” Kardashian says, through tears. “I’m such a different person.”

She continues, “My whole life has changed, as far as how I travel and what security [I have]. I never thought I’d need security staying outside my door, even though I have a lot of jewelry. If you think about it, I should have had security outside my door 24/7 when I’m traveling. And I didn’t. Now, I have several just so I can be able to sleep at night.”

Kardashian was trying to hold back tears throughout most of the talk about the Paris robbery. She  explained that the experience has made her less materialistic and that she’s glad that her kids “are getting this me”. “I just don’t care about that stuff anymore… I don’t care to show off the way I used to,” she said, as the audience applauded.
