A few months after releasing “Better To Have Loved” as a single, Keke Palmer has delivered us an official music video.
In a striped down video, Palmer is showing sensuality and vulnerability. The video features mostly palmer by herself, in what appears to be stages of self-reflection and thought. The once scene where she is joined by a man, palmer appears to be nude, creating the vulnerable scene.
Palmer sings about going after someone you want, having to understand what can come from it, even if it’s nothing. A relatable topic for everyone, and something every person has experienced while dating.
“Help me understand please/ Cause I need some clarity/ Win or lose, don’t interlude/ I’ll put it straight like this cause, I/ Want this/ Even if it’s for a moment/ Even if it leads to nothing/ That’s got to mean something…”
