Jussie Smollett Had To Pay $10,000 Cash & Hand Over His Passport After Being Arrested

After News broke that Jussie Smollett was allegedly attacked by MAGA supporters, and the attacked was racially charged and homophobic; many people stuck themselves out to defend Smollett. Now, as evidence increases, it appears to possibly be a staged attack he orchestrated himself.

It’s important to note that everything is allegations. Smollett’s allegations, as well as the Chicago Police Department.

At a press conference held by the Chicago Police department, a police spokesman alleged that Smollett first sent himself a fake threatening letter that said “you will die Black F**.” cThe letter is said to have been sent to the studio, while earlier reports stated he received the letter at his home.

The police department is also alleging that the cause was due to his disatifcation from his Empire salary. Stating that Smollett had teamed up with two friends and Empire extras, Olabinjo and Abimbola Osundairo, who allegedly helped him plan this attack.

Smollett still remains his innocence. Smollett was released on a 10,000 cash bond, and is still a free man for now. While this will go to court, there is no court date.

If found guilty in this case, Smollett could face up to three years in jail for disorderly conduct and filing a false police report.
