Broccoli City Festival, a Black-owned music and culture festival, returns for its 11th year in business. This time, later in the year.
On July 15 and 16, the DC-based, two-day festival will have something for everybody at the RFK Festival Grounds with two stages, over 40 artists and DJS, more than 50 vendors and more than 40 food options.
July 15 lineup:
Jazmine Sullivan and Lil Uzi Vert are scheduled to be headliners on that date. Other artists include Ice Spice, City Girls, Saucy Santana and Mariah the Scientist, Rema, Finesse2tymes, Tiacorine and OG Bobby Billions.
July 16 lineup:
Brent Faiyaz is the scheduled headliner. Local artists Fat Trel and Tre’ Amani, along with Chloe, Coco Jones, Glorilla, Kodak Black, Asake, LARussel and Lola Brooke will also grace the stage.
A “Battle of the Bands” will also take place with Backyard Band, UCB, TCB, Reaction Band, TOB and Sirius Company.
2022 marked the 10th year the festival has been in action and its first return after the peak of COVID-19. Despite multiple delays, it garnered attention and support, along with a dynamic lineup that included Ari Lennox, Tems, Wiz Kid, Wale, 21 Savage and more.
