With Carey’s Christmas hit, she has set a record that hasn’t been achieved before. She has a #1 single in four different decades. The 90s, 00s, 10s, and 20s. Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” ended the 2010’s being number one, and is beginning the 2020s at number one. Although released in 1994, Carey’s Christmas classic returns to the Billboard charts every year. The single helped Carey earn her 19th Billboard #1 single.
