The Soul Train Awards aired last night (November 28th) on BET, and they showed many different great performances from Yuna, Ro James, Dru Hill, India Arie, Erykah Badu herself, and iconic performances from Brandy and Teddy Riley.
This is the second time Ma. Badu hosted the award show, and the second time she delivered greatly. The big performances of the night were Dru Hill opening the show, Brandy and her Lady Of Soul win/Performance, and Teddy Riley with his Legend award win/performance. Brandy was given her awards from legendary soul singer Jill Scott, after being last years recipient, and the show was so pure you could feel it in your living room.
Brandy performed a medley of her hits ranging from “I Wanna Be Down,” “Almost Doesn’t Count,” “Top Of The World,” and more.
