Is R. Kelly’s legacy still a thing? French Montana believes so, and says that Kelly already warned us years ago.
Montana was questioned by TMZ on Kelly and how he felt about his music, to which Montana responded “can I keep it real with you?” Montana included Michael Jackson in his repose to try and equate what they did to Jackson to Kelly with the allegations.
When it comes to Jackson, it came out that the allegations were false and the family spoke out about lying. And in regards to Kelly, he was found not guilty in court in 2008.
“People don’t let nobody have their legendary moments,” Montana explained. “Let [R. Kelly] have his legacy. Let somebody enjoy their legacy,” he continued. “Whatever happened, happened. He fought in the court of law and won.”
