Emerging Artist Porcelan Releases Two Videos For Latest Single, “Lois Lane”

Emerging, Memphis made, R&B artist Porcelan is going to be a force to help bring true R&B back to the foreground.

In her new single, “Lois Lane,” Porcelan sings about wanting to be rescued, wanting to be protected, finding her Superman in real life. Delivering a video for both a studio version (featuring Jonathan McDaniel aka Devon from “That’s So Raven”), and acoustic version, Porcelan creates a feeling with her voice. You can feel the sincerity and hurt in her voice, which essentially helps make the song relatable for many.

The song was written by DeNarious Holmes and produced by Hamilton Hardin, who also plays the piano in the music video.

In regards to the releasing an acoustic version to “Lois Lane, Porcelan states: “I wanted to showcase a different side and a more stripped down version of the song.  The love and support that the original song and video are receiving are simply amazing and I could not be more thankful for the embrace.”

This past summer, Apple Music celebrated Black Music Month by selecting the “new, now and next” artist on the rise and Made In Memphis Entertainment’s own, Porcelan was featured in the R&B section of the Indie Music Month as the Independent Artist of the month for June 2018.  The “Lois Lane” music video is currently in rotation on BET SOUL, BETHer, Much Music and Music Choice among other TV video platforms.
