DJ Self Speaks On His “Beef” With Nicki Minaj: “We Had No Conversations At All. It Fell In Line With The Other Lies…”

The drama between DJ Self and Nicki Minaj allegedly is due to a now deleted Instagram post by Self (at least on Minaj’s part). In the now deleted post, Self said “So you really mad who got the best female album out now talk to me…”

Well Minaj caught wind of the post and attacked him on twitter with the following statements in tweets, which have also been deleted (see pictures below). A better breakdown of the situation can be heard here.

Well, Self responded to Minaj’s allegation on his radio show tonight. Stating that they don’t have a real relationship, that Minaj has asked him to make a video of him playing her record, but ends his rant saying he still doesn’t have a problem with Minaj. “It’s all about the music… I also know that when tempers are flaring, people say things that they don’t really mean.”

Hear Self’s response below.
