Disney Actor Issac Ryan Brown to Host Second Annual Raise Your Voice 4 Peace (RYV4P) Youth Singing Competition

Issac Ryan Brown will serve as the host of the second annual Raise Your Voice 4 Peace (RYV4P) youth singing competition. The competition takes place at the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles, November 16.

Rising to fame while co-starring on Disney Channel’s hit series Raven’s Home, Brown has developed his skills an actor ,a singer, and rapper. He’s set to perform two songs at the event.

“I’m super excited to be hosting because I attended the event last year,” Brown stated. “I was blown away by how awesome the performers were while at the same time getting me excited about such a great cause.”

Dr. Angela Parker, director of training and programs for Jenesse Center and Jeneration J, is looking forward to this year’s competition.

“Raise Your Voice 4 Peace is a way to empower youth to embrace the healthy relationships in their lives in a creative way that they can connect with,” said Dr. Parker. “There is so much power in music and allowing our youth to express themselves in this manner meets them where there are. We are also very excited to be hosting our second annual singing competition.”  

Guidelines:

  • Contestants must between 13 to 18-years-old, and
  • Submit a video of themselves singing an original or cover song with an empowering message.
  • Submissions must be made HERE by Fri., Oct. 25, at 11:59 p.m. PT.

The Raise Your Voice 4 Peace planning committee will select the 5 finalists. The winner of the competition will win $3,000. A panel of music industry executives and artists will serve as judges at the finale and select the winner.

RYV4P ticket are $10 for students, $35 for general admission and $150 for VIP. VIP includes a pre-event reception. To purchase tickets click HERE.
