Fans and friends of Michael Jackson have been on defense for the Pop icon since his earlier child molestation cases in the early 2000′s, all of which he was found innocent. Recently, the documentary Leaving Neverland has resurfaced these allegations.
Diana Ross, a close family friend, took to Twitter to express her feelings towards Jackson and the allegations. Ross called Jackson “a magnificent incredible force to me and to many others,” and asked people to “STOP IN THE NAME OF LOVE.”
After a Twitter user tried to rebut against Ross’ statement, comedian legend Paul Mooney stepped in to defend Jackson and Ross’ tweet.
Ross, Mooney, and many other people feel that the resurgence of these allegations on Jackson’s behalf are false, and unnecessary. As stated earlier, Jackson was found innocent of all charges. Jackson’s family is sticking up for the icon, most notably his nephew Taj.
