Deon Cole to Host 2022 Soul Train Awards, Beyoncé and Mary J. Blige Lead in Nominations

The 2022 Soul Train Awards will take place in November, and the nominations are in.

Beyoncé and Mary J. Blige lead in nominations with several each, followed by Ari Lennox with six and Lizzo and Chris Brown with five.

Comedian and actor Deon Cole will host the 2022 awards.

“Deon Cole is known for delivering razor-sharp humor and commentary across his acclaimed standup specials and series. Get ready to see him unleash his comedic talents like never before on the Soul Train Awards stage–and don’t say we didn’t warn you,” Connie Orlando, EVP Specials, Music Programming & Music Strategy said.

The 2022 Soul Train Awards will premiere on Nov. 27, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on BET and BET Her.
