After surviving a controversial moment in politics, Chrisette Michele returns with her album Out of Control. Her new album is very self assuring, self aware, and pro-Black.
Michele’s album is definitely about her rise back into herself, and celebrating herself and her identity. With songs like “Black Lives Matter,” “Strong Black Woman,” and “She Won,” Michele is not going to go down easy. She knows who she is, and is reminding people the type of person and artist she is.
