While things seemed to only get better and better for Cardi B, it looks like her success has just hit a snag over an alleged altercation.

On August 29th, 2018, there was an alleged altercation that took place at a Queens strip club over 2 girls that may have a connection with Offset cheating on Cardi. TMZ stated that “the fight was spontaneous and was triggered after someone threw a drink. They say nothing was premeditated.” The bartenders were allegedly attacked with bottles, chairs and a hookah smoking device.

In October 2018, Cardi turned herself in for a misdemeanor summons. Jeff Kern, her attorney, did not specifiy the misdemeanor charge,  but said he was “aware of no evidence that she caused anybody any harm.” According to the New York Times, Cardi rejected a plea deal to a Class A misdemeanor in April for an alleged attack on a pair of bartending sisters.

As of Friday, June 21st, Cardi was indicted Friday on two counts of felony attempted assault and lesser charges, The Associated Press reported.
