Cardi B Becomes the Third Act and First Rapper To Have 3 Debut Singles in the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 Simultaneously, Following The Beatles & Ashanti

Cardi B continues to make history in the music game. While becoming the first female rapper to have a solo number 1 rap record on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart in 19 years, Cardi can now add another impressive feat to her resume.

Cardi now holds an accomplishment that was only had by two previous artists, The Beatles and Ashanti.

Cardi’s current top 10 singles include her own solo song, “Bodak Yellow,” which sits at number 10, along with her features on “Motorsport” (#7) and “No Limit” (#4). The first musical artist(s) to do this is The Beatles (1964), followed by Ashanti (2002).

The Beatles first three songs hit the number 1, 2 and 3, position respectively: “I Want to Hold Your Hand,” “She Loves You” and “Please Please Me.” While Ashanti’s songs includes her hit “Foolish,” along with “Always on Time with Ja Rule, and “What’s Luv” with Fat Joe.  The range of this feat between The Beatles and Ashanti is 38 years, while the time span between Ashanti and Cardi is 17 years, respectively.

While the fans continue to wait for Cardi’s debut album, her second single, “Bartier Cardi” featuring 21 Savage, debuted on the Hot 100 Chart as number 14.
