Calling Writers for Magazine Relaunch

InquisitiveCarter.com is looking for writers, journalists, poets and more for our 2022 magazine relaunch.

The first issue (June 2022) will be centered around Black Music Month (any music takes surrounding Black artists), Pride (LGBTQIA+ takes within the Black community), and Mental Health within the Black community (in various ways). There will be four issues in total, so other topics are welcomed.

The current compensation rate (as we’re starting out) is $0.10 per word, 500 words max. Longer pieces can be discussed. Payment will be sent through Paypal.

Some pieces will also run on the site during the time of each issue. Profile pieces and interviews are also accepted.

There is currently no set deadline for submissions.

Email all pitches, a brief bio, samples and social media profiles to WilliamCarter@InquisitiveCarter.com
